PCR and errors

I am using PCR to clone out a gene from a bacterial virus gene. I have
mutant variants of the gene which I would like to clone out for DNA
sequencing. How do I minimize introducing errors when cloning out the
gene from the phage to the sequehcing or expression vector? Please send
