I am a Masters student working with several cyanobacteria, both filamentous and
single-celled. I am trying to isolate the thick slime layers occurring on
these organisms, but am having very little luck with chemical and physical
manipualtions.
If anyone has any new protocols that have been successful, please let me know.
I would love to discuss the results of any and all cyanobacteria that have
responded to these treatments.
