Hello I am trying to make a plasmid with two ColE1 replication origins. Is this possible? Can E. coli maintain a plasmid with two of these origins? Has anybody ever been able to do this? Thanks! Rob M. replies may be sent to merker01 at mcrcr.med.nyu.edu
