Hi Netters,
I have finished my doctorate studies in microbiology, and I am
initiating this discussion very seriously. Because even today, I find
that every other microbiologist I meet and talk to, has a different
concept about the subject and its scope. I try to pass on maximum that I
can to all the students. But I am highly unsatisfied when I try to
define microbiology and/or its scope to them. Different views,
arguments, definitions and active discussion on this topic by all the
discussion group members is most wel-come.
