In my Granny Grammar ("prune faced grammarian") persona I am always
irritated to see people using adverbs where they want predicate adjectives.
"If people want their onions chopped thinly, do they paint the town redly
when they are drunkly?" I wonder.
Acidhead Kary Mullis, however, may very well rank highly while he is ranking
high on a list.
