Invitrogen is marketing a new selection for eukaryotic cells
called "Blasticidin" which
supposedly selects faster than G418/neomycin. They claim that you can
get stables in
as little as 4 days.....and it is 1/4 the price of G418....
Has anyone tried this new selection?? How is it? Does it work as
well as they say it
