Has anybody out there extracted DNA from insects embedded in amber?
Or attempted to? What happened?
This question was posted to sci.bio and bionet.molbio.methds-reagnts,
and one of the people who replied suggested posting here. Please
email me if you have any information, and I will post a summary to
these three groups.
I am turning to the net because the library here closes at 5:00
Friday and doesn't reopen until 1:00 p.m. Sunday due to budget
cuts. Makes a literature search difficult!!
