Dr. Winona Barker did a quick check of the sequences in PIR and found that the
longest stretch of known protein sequence identity between bovine and mouse is
probably beta Actin (ATRTC in the current release, ATMSB and ATBOB in the next
release). The sequences are probably identical for 375 residues. However, the
bovine sequence is not as well determined as the mouse sequence. The human and
mouse sequences are identical.
