I too think seeing genomic evolution occuring on a human time scale
is facinating, but also very sad for the victims.
As for other examples:
what about the processes that occur when attenuated viruses are
produced as vacines by serial passage through a different host
organism? Such as passing human viruses through chicken eggs?
or are these two very dis-similar things?
