This is almost certainly the wrong group for me to be posting this question...
I would be grateful if some kind person would politely tell me where it would
be better to ask such layman-type questions.
My question, though, is what distinguishes the dinosaurs from other reptiles?
In what ways are crocodiles, alligators *not* surviving dinosaurs (as usually
seems to be claimed or implied)?
Thanks in advance... it's puzzled me for ages... and no-one has yet given me
any answer at all (let alone a satisfactory one).
