a fellow student in my physical anthro seminar stated that the tracing of
mitochondrial dna origins to northest africa has been "discredited". there
were two articles recently in sci-am that were to open a dialog around
this issue, but i haven't seen any follow-up.
1. is c-s "discredited"?
2. what are reasonable sources of info (for non-biologists/chemists)
on this subject? i may do my paper on this topic...
