This is yet more legal trickery.  The duty may be 'to the child,' but it will
only accrue, if the other parent *seeks it*.  In other words, he IS bound, by
her decision to go after him.

Oh?  So mothers shouldn't have any duties towards their children?  Or should
only men PAY for children, Ted?  I've never seen such moralising from you
before.
