Neel's Book is complete with his opinion favoring Sewall Wright's
view of evolutionary gradualism versus the faster occasion
hypothesis which has been espoused by Gould.
Neel admits however that Wright's ideas do not explain all the
complexity (genetic) and that it is hard to understand how even
chromosomal rearrangement can explain "organ or tissue level" my quotes,
my interpretation, evolution.
