I don't know about the figures, but would like to add what I feel is
a salient point as I understand other (myths?) cited info: supposedly
we *could* feed everyone now- it is a matter of distribution, economics,
and politics that we do not do so. And as always, carrying capacity should
increase as we continue to produce more due to technical "advances".
So how does this thread fit into evolution?
