If anything that biologists believe about how the process(es) of
evolution are real, the "number of existent" species should be
dynamic, not static. Further, it should often be difficult to
delineate between some species. These things do seem to be
the case as any discussion of taxonomy will suggest. Care to
try to make your points anyway?
