Re message 2lna0t$6j7 at inxs.concert.net from Morgan Ryan:
While Homo sapiens may well be the only multicellular eukaryote
to have consciously 'hoiked' itself of the planet surface,
I am quite sure that untold billions of bacteria and probably
some eukaryotes hitched a ride into space along with your
'World Champion Organisms', and it is possible that a number
even now are exiting the solar system in a Voyager probe.
In any case since we so-called higher organisms are totally
dependent on microbes, shouldn't that make *them* the 'higher'
form of life?
