I wish to know if there is a molecular evolution program in the public domain
which carries out Farris' method and the modified Farris method. Does anybody
have any comments about the reliability of these methods (i.e. better, worse tha

the Fitch and Margoliash, Neighbor Joining) under unequal rates of nucleotide
substitution among different lineages. The literature appears to favour these
methods.
