   Actually to my reading of the literature Wright (1934) is derivative of
earlier works by Haldane and Muller. A review of this may be found in a paper
which is in press:

  "The Heat-Shock Response and the Molecular Basis of Genetic Dominance"
   J. Theoretical Biology. vol 167. (1994).
