Evolutionary Genetics Post-Doc in Hawaii
Post-doctoral position is available to study the structure
and history of insect populations using nuclear gene
sequences. Research will involve developing EPIC primers for
nuclear gene introns to document the origins of colonization
events and to study evolution in sub-divided populations.
Development of related projects will be encouraged.
Minimum requirements: Ph.D. in appropriate field and a good
knowledge of population genetics, evolutionary ecology, and
population biology. Molecular experience helpful, though not
required--we'll teach you all you need to know!
Details: Funding available for 2 years. Salary $33-35,000
(includes health insurance). Good surfing, Good Thai food.
Start-date: negotiable, but the sooner the better.
