For a short, well written, easy reading book, try:

	"The Problems in Evolution" by Mark Riddley 

He provides a short chapter on the FACT of evolution. The book can be read in
a day and it summarizes various contoversies in evolution theory. 

You should be able to find it at most university libraries. It isn't molecular
evolution oriented though.
