Could "Muller's ratchet" mechanism on non-recombining X and Y chromosomes
also accelerate Y-linked mammalian clock rates?
I am very interested in Muller's ratchet mechanisms on sex chromosomes. In
mammals, Y chromosome is morphologically smaller than X chromosome, but in
Drosophila, Y > X. What makes the difference in length of Y chromosomes?
