What drives early evolution drives entropy

Life is more entropic than death. ( The death of an organizm results
in a reduction of entropy.)

Therefore whatever disturbs energy stasis has that in common with
life. Chemically, an energy sink might be quite similar to the
formation of organic molecules and then life forms.
Functionally, where the workings of an energy sink can be defined,
would that be a clue to what drove early evolution?

  On the one
hand, the universe is going to pieces in panic. On the other hand,
it is assembling life in doing so. It's like...a tradeoff: some
good, some bad.
