Dear Dick,
You are right. One unused gene will drift through mutation to junk, and its
presence can still be useful. But it is not a rule (of course, because we are
talking about science). I was just trying to say to David Thorton that
not "all" of junk DNA can be coding.
Anyway, I thank you about the reference. I think it will be very useful.
But our library hasn't receive this Journal(8) yet. I will have to wait
one or two months to read it...
