It is evolutionarily advantageous for us to die. If any one organism were to be
immortal AND able to reproduce, Its population woud explode and eventually
outstrip the earth of the resources necessary to support it. The same hold true
for man... We have evolved and selected the genes necessary to sustain us as a
species (like any other species).
