                FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT AND CALL FOR PAPERS

The 1995 meeting of the New England Molecular Evolutionary Biologists
(NEMEB) will be held on Saturday, November 11, 1995 at the University
of Connecticut, Storrs, CT.  Registration and coffee will begin at
8:00 A.M., and the first talk will begin at 9:00.

There will be talks by several invited speakers as well as shorter
contributed talks.  We will also have posters available all day.

Whether you plan to attend the meeting or simply want to stay on the
mailing list, please complete the following registration/call for
papers form and return it by October 1, 1995.  Please feel free to
duplicate and distribute copies of this notice and the registration
form to anyone interested in attending the meeting, particularly
students and faculty who are new to NEMEB.

A second notice with a schedule and directions to UConn will be
distributed two weeks prior to the meeting to all who return the
registration form.
