POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
TITLE: Assistant Professor - Evolutionary Biology
Description: Tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor
level. Academic year appointment in the Department of Biology, College of
Arts and Science. The successful candidate will be expected to interact
with members of the Ecology, Evolution and Conservation Biology graduate
program. Candidates must have demonstrated an advanced understanding of
quantitative methods of data analysis. Responsibilities include developing
a strong, externally-funded research program, teaching evolution and other
appropriate undergraduate and graduate courses, and guiding graduate
students in the Ecology, Evolution and Conservation Biology program.
Qualifications: Ph.D., postdoctoral experience, and evidence of a strong
research potential through publication are required.
Salary: Nine month salaries for assistant professors usually range from
$30,053 - $40,084, depending on qualifications and experience.
