Evolution lecture notes on web

I am currently teaching graduate student biochemistry in a one semester
course of 48 hour and a half lectures. This year we decided to add two
lectures on molecular evolution. As a help to the students, I have posted
my lecture notes on our departmental web server. The first lecture is now
posted and the second will follow by Friday.

I am a little concerned that I may not know this area thoroughly, and I may
have made some errors in my presentation. I would appreciate any comments
by those who care to read the notes. The Departmental Homepage is:

http://drnelson.utmem.edu/homepage.html

The Biochem 811 homepage is:

http://drnelson.utmem.edu/811.html

The first evolution lecture is:

http://drnelson.utmem.edu/evolution.html

The second lecture will be evolution2.html

Any suggestions for corrections, improvements, additions would be
appreciated.
