Universal/degenerate primer kits for nuclear and mtDNA are available for
insects thanks to the efforts of B. Crespi, J. Hobbs and colleagues.
These kits provide an economical starting point for the development of
DNA markers.
Are similar kits or relatively recent compilations of
universal/degenerate primers available for cpDNA and nuclear DNA of
higher plants?
