Bishop Usher, if I remember from school, pinned the moment of
Universal creation down to 9:15 am on the 8th of October 4004 B.C. so
it'll soon be the anniversary. If only it were true then I could
hypothesise the rates of divergence of the organisms I'm studying and
come back two weeks later to see if I'm right. Thankfully schools here
in Britain have a more pragmatic approach to the study of science.
