Is anyone out there running PCR on any members of the Andropogoneae
(Corn, Sorghum especially other genera) on extractions from dried
material - herbarium specimens? This is a new group for us and I am
having a problem with very low yields in my PCR reactions. We are
trying several variations but I was wondering if anyone had specifically
done work on this group and optimized a procedure for herbarium material
(not Silica gel dried).
