Isn't this a false issue? If I am performing a Lowry assay, am I a molecular
biologist at that moment or a biochemist? Nature recently had a review
article about synonymous vs. non-synonymous changes which was extremely
interesting. Particular issues deserve our time and energy. This seems
to be reductionism at its most absurd.
