It is claimed that Ig(immunoglobulin) Type C1 domain is found only in the
vertebrate word, while the IgC2 is found in all the metazooan. It seems to
me that IgC2 is a paraphyletic group . In other word IgC1 is a subfamily
of IgC2. I would be intersted in other opinions.
