Hi all,
I (a geneticist by training) was having a debate with my local barman
(currently in his 4th year in geology) as to how long DNA remains in
rocks/fossils?
Is there any concrete (no pun intended!) information on this anywhere as
to how long DNA retains its structure in rock/fossils?
Any info. as to the half-life appreciated, as would be any rants, raves,
URL's references or whatever!
