A postdoctoral research position is available in the Laboratorio Nacional de Genomica para la Biodiversidad (LANGEBIO) in Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico, to study evolutionary diversification of the chromatin proteome / epigenome in eukaryotes (primarily plants, animals, and fungi), especially with respect to the evolution of 'dialects' of the 'histone language' in different eukaryotic lineages. Requires Ph.D. with experience and publications in the area of molecular phylogenetics and molecular evolution, ability to supervise students, and good English proficiency.
