This is a point of some controversy, but yes, there are probably lots
of good examples of this occurring, though it is probably rare to
catch it in two closely related species (unless one gene lost all of
its introns via retrotransposition).  I suggest you look at the large
body of information (and arguments) on exons and evolution generated
by Walter Gilbert, Jeff Palmer, Russell Doolittle, Ford Doolittle,
Laslo Patthy, et al.
