Starting September 1996, Georgia Institute of Technology (Textile and Fiber
Engineering/Polymer Center) has an opening for a post-doctoral position
in the area of molecular modeling. Primary responsibilities will be to
conduct molecular dynamics/mechanics studies of polymers used in
high-performance fibers as well as polymeric materials in natural fibers.
Require a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in molecular mechanics & dynamics, electronic structure
calculations, and programing languages are required along with a strong
background in polymer physics and statistical mechanics. Please forward
