IRIS is a Research Institute devoted to the study of Immunology and 
vaccine development. The Institute is part of the Italian branch  of 
CHIRON-BIOCINE Co., a biotechnology firm located in Emeryville, 
California.
The Department of Molecular Biology anticipates a faculty appointment in

MOLECULAR MODELING
SEQUENCE ANALYSIS

at the level of staff scientist, but under exceptional circumstances 
experienced candidates with outstanding records will be considered for 
appointment at higher rank. The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. 
and postdoctoral experience and will be expected to have expertise in 
the following areas:

C/C++ programming languages
UNIX (IRIX), VMS and MacOS
Networking
WEB Publishing
Image analysis
