annual Modern Math Workshop <http://icerm.brown.edu/mmw2013>, Oct. 2-3,
2013, preceding the Society for Advancement of Chicanos and Native
Americans in Science (SACNAS <http://sacnas.org>) national conference in
San Antonio, Texas. Intended to invigorate the research careers of
minority mathematicians and mathematics faculty at minority-serving
institutions, the event features early career researcher sessions and
