Matsutake/Nippon use

The Japanese mostly use the Matsutake' as a soup.
They are packed as most fresh produce and other edible fungus, in
cardboard produce boxes. Just don't pack them too tight, and keep them
refrigerated.
The wholesale price varies greatly, the low around $40 a pound fresh for #
1 variety.
