Yes, the post LP headache, nausea ..., is common and felt to be due to
CSF leakage. In many institutions, esp after administeration of spinal
anesthesia, a thrombin patch is placed at the sight of dura puncture.
The symptoms are fairly idiosyncratic, although greater CSF loss often
is felt to be associated with increase in symptoms. As to the original
dialogue line re semen , I think NOT.
