There is a group who grew neurones on silicon wafers sheathed
with laminine. This was a little bit like constructing networks
with real neurones. (But I think, they had difficulties with
making synapses.) They also made FETs with a neurone on the
gate. At the moment, all I have as a reference is an abstract
