Hi!
I need the advice of some experts! I am interested in whether
it is possible to identify a retinal ganglion cell (on-center,
off-center, or on-off) in a living retina WITHOUT DAMAGING THE
CELLS. Do different retinal ganglion cell types display any
MEASURABLE characteristics that could be detected (transduced)
to identify the cell type?
Or is it that retinal ganglion cells are physiologically
similar but functionally different?
Feel free to send me e-mail directly if you like.
Thanks in advance!
+Bob
