>With great Interest I have read the article "The Prion Connection" in Science, Vol 264, 22 April 1994, by Charles Weismann.
>The article is a summary of the possibility of prion like disease in yeast " The Prion Connection: Now in Yeast."
>This article seems to be a reinforcement of the "Prusiner Model".
>Otherwise there are some articles published by Harash K. Narang, for example:

>  Vol 724 of the Annals of the New york Academy of Sciences June 6, 1994

>" Evidence that homologous ss-DNA is present in Scarpie, Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease and            Bovine Spongioform Encephalopathy.
>Unique virus-like tubulofilamentous particles, termed nemavirus, have been consistently observed in spongioforme encephalopathic brains by electron microscopy in thin  sections.
>SDS treatment of unfixed infected brain tissue on grids revealed a twisted fibril core of tubulofilamentous particles. The unmasked fibrils are not artefacts of protease treatment of protein formed in vitro during purification.
