Neurons in areas MT and MST of the macaque are responsive to local and
global visual motion. Is there an equivalent of area MT or MST in the
cat? The area PMLS (Posteromedial lateral suprasylvian) has been
suggested by a colleague of mine, but I have not found any evidence in
the literature for this. Are there any such areas of "motion
processing" in the cat? Any references to chase would be great, thanks.
