By now you've probably resolved your problem, but did you call the vendor
of the Vectastain kit? Usually they are pleased to replace it for you by
next-day mail. They want their products to be good quality and reliable,
so they'll do that for you. I had a similar experience once where the
secondary did not bind in the way that a previous kit had. Good luck.
