A neuroscience laboratory within the Mind/Brain Institute at Johns
Hopkins University is seeking a software engineer to develop a
real-time nerve spike collection program for visual neurophysiology
experiments.
Qualified candidates should be strong C programmers and should have
2-3+ years of experience with PCs and Unix workstations. Candidates
must be motivated self-starters. Additional desirable qualifications
include a BS degree in Computer Science, low-level hardware
programming experience using DOS, real-time data acquisition, digital
electronics, previous experience in a systems neuroscience setting,
virtual reality, SGI Inventor and MATLAB. Some system administration
experience with Windows and/or SGI Irix would also be helpful.
This position, which is located on the Homewood campus of The Johns
