May Day is a day commemorating US labor movement efforts in the 1880's,
and in particular the riots in Chicago in May of 1886, when 7 policemen
were killed from an explosion of dynamite, and 8 'anarchists' were arrested,
3 executed, 1 committed suicide, and 3 were eventually pardoned.
Hopefully it will be celebrated with less violence than Hitler's birthday was.
