Not really, the "rage" nucleus is in the hypothalamic area.
The amygdala is involved in conditioned fear responses.
Amygdala stimulation will most probably produce noxious
effects, and it may even kindle seizures. I were to select
a part of my brain to be implanted with an electrode, I'd
go for the medial forebrain bundle or nucleus accumbens.
