>Applicants must include a personal statement, a recent school
transcript, one letter of recommendation from a faculty member, and a
selection of two choices of research areas they would like to explore.<

Once upon a time in fairy-tale-word there was someone asking such a question.
And, as in so many places before, that lead to that the person censored out
nearly all relevant personaly information, instead calculated what is wanted
there and tried to adapt the slime so it fits to the expectations indicated.

The recommender did not want the student to lool stupid in front of strangers.
So he tried to make the recommendation sound neat enough.

Who wants to research with which finger(s) humans try to dig in their nose and
if that is the same used in wanking or digging in the ear, and make some vast
research study on that,
or has some other interests that might seem a bit bizarre to others, might
instead think what the questioner might prefer as an answer and give that as
the answer.

End of Tale

... Let's take invented student "Toke".

What he really likes is to fuck.

First rolling a joint, among friend's also called a nano-technology
joint-precision, hash in the middle, tabacco cut smaller and arranged around so
it sourrounds the middle, the paper tip in the middle turned to a neat
geometric perfection.

Then, after the smoking and in the fucking, slowing it, and spooking with the
spirit with a partner who can do that out of body, and outside spirit unite
while climax.

He really likes that, wants more experiences with more women who can do it,
too, and finds it a fascinating study and very erotic and mentally also very

How much exactly of that would you expect he would write into any interests
application of that?

What arrives might be more something that slimes about the topics that are of
interest for what you are seeking students for there,
there might be zero about what really interests him in there,
and instead you get some slime model
that is adapted to you declared demand-expectations, concerning your questions
about personal statement, scientific interests and professional goals, etc.,
neatly made to come up to exactly the two pages you demand.

That alone states to me how well you research the human psyche, and how shallow
your interests are and those of your university.
