glass vs metal electrode biasing

Hi,

I'm interested in finding out if there has been any parametric study
on the effects of the recording electrode on the types of units or
fibers recorded.  Specifically, I'm wondering if there is any evidence
of a bias of glass electrodes to preferentially record from fibers as
opposed to cell bodies whereas metal electrodes exhibit the opposite
behavior.  Thanks for any help!
